Finding the Curve and Always Looking For the Shot!
When you have been involved in photography for as long as I have, close to 40 years (if you include that I bought my first camera when I was 8), the one thing I always strive for professionally and creatively is to search for that different angle, that view no one has seen. Always trying to be on the cutting edge of technologies and the the beginning of the curve. We have a saying in our family that if we can’t find the path, we create one.
A few months ago, I purchased a drone. I had been looking at them for a while and one came out in March that finally had some of the features I was looking for. So with the help of some friends and some birthday money, I purchased a DJI Phantom 4. I proceeded to take it out into empty fields with my son and learned how to fly and navigate, and create images and videos.
In our local town of Easton, PA each year there is a festival that commemorates the reading of the Declaration of Independence and the day ends with a great fireworks show over the Lehigh and Delaware rivers. The images you see are a result of this show. It shows the Lehigh River and downtown Easton, PA. We hope you enjoy it!
By the way, we have more – if you would like to see them, please drop us a note and we will be in touch!
